Counsellor and therapist registration in British Columbia

A higher standard of professional registration.

BCACT is an independent registration and credentialing association for counsellors and therapists in British Columbia. We set rigorous requirements for registration, assess qualifications against them, maintain a public register, and hold registrants to a published standard of professional conduct.

Our responsibility

BCACT does not market the professionals it registers. Our purpose is to ensure that BCACT registration remains a clear and trusted measure of demonstrated professional competence, ethical accountability, and readiness to practise.
